Guest guest
OK, I'm blushing now. I don't think I have quite the smarts the rest of ya'll have. If I did, then pray tell me why I ignored my diabetes for nine some-odd years (with a nursing background)? The way I look at it, we're all casting around for snippets of information about our pet disease and sharing what we find. Thanks for the support, Susie. Go with God, Esther t2, diet, exercise, insulin, etc.
Guest guest
So sorry to hear about your Mom, Susie. I really don't think there is anything harder to go through than watching somebody get sicker and sicker, especially when there isn't much you can do. Are you close enough that you can visit her and make sure she is comfortable? Sometimes if there is just something that you can do, it makes you feel somewhat better and in control. If you are far away maybe send her a care package of some things she might like. Sounds like a very strange nursing home. Anyway I hope you feel better and of course that your Mom feels better soon.
