Wow, good for you Lynn. You really need to rest now and you sure have earned the

right to sit.

I just thought I would tell everyone what I did today. I signed up for

a walk-a-thon for a local hospital with my daughter-in-law today. It

was three miles it a very nice area. I really had trouble keeping up

but I finished. It was hard and I know tomorrow I will really pay for

this but I was able to finish. There was a little dog walking with his

owner right beside us. At the end I made up my mind he was not going to

beat me. So I tried to move a little faster and so did the dog. The

whole time looking at me but I barely beat him. I also let him know

that I beat him. We just laughed at this little dog. It was a nice day

and just thought I would share. Needless to say I am so tired and just

want to sit.

Hope everyone has a nice day,

Lynn (MeMom)

Hi June,

Thanks for your note. I am very tired and in a lot of pain. But I still

think it was worth it. I am just taking it easy for now, hoping everything will

settle down.

I was one of the last people to finish, I can't walk to fast. I didn't care

about that though, I just wanted to finish. At least that dog didn't beat me,

that would have

been very hard to take, if he had.

I hope you are well,

Lynn

Congratulations on finishing the walk, Lynn!

I read your other post about your son. I'm so sorry. That has got to be a

heartbreaking situation to deal with. I'll pray that he comes home very

soon.

Hi ,

I have been paying for that walk but that is okay, I did it and I'm not sorry

that I did. My son is a heartbreak. He is missing so much with the family, he

doesn't

even know his nieces or nephews. How I would have loved to have had him at my

graduation. Just as I knew the last time I saw him, would be the last for

awhile. We

talked and laughed there was no reason for me to feel that I wouldn't see him.

But I knew it would be a long time before we saw each other again. I also know

he will

come around and be with us again. I pray he doesn't wait to long. For now I

know I could call his friend and check up on him but I never do that. I'm

afraid he would

cut his friend off.

Thank you for your concern. Hope you and your family are doing good? What year

in college is going into.

Lynn, thanks. Everyone here is fine.

just graduated and will be starting college in the fall. is

entering her senior year, but she changed her major from engineering to

nursing, so she may have to stay longer.

A belated congratulations to you on your graduation! You'll do well at

Temple, I'm sure.

How nice your daughter is going to be a nurse, it is a good field. I know how

much you will be able to help her. This is compliment to you and all your

research.

Thank you for the congratulations on the graduation. It was something I never

even thought would happen. The day was a complete blast, I am the first one in

my mothers

and fathers family to go to college. Now the grandchildren are going but not

their children or as far back as I can see. Not sure about Temple but I do want

to give it

a try. I am very nervous about the whole thing.

It is so nice to hear from you.
