Maintenance of certification

Hi All and thanks for sharing your experience. Re-Dr Leigh's point about paying for MOC- We do not have to comply with that extortion. I know that sounds radical- but think about it. If a Doc really wants an independent, ideal practice, why should they be "off the grid" in terms of refusing to kowtow to one set of administrators (e.g large group employer) but willingly bow to another set (the specialty board exam)?

As long as we comply with the board certification process, the worse it is likely to get- I see it as part of the same system that landed us in the mess we're in now!
