Guest guest
I have a question for anyone who has had a foot fracture I was going to email Marina about it but can't find her email. I believe she is the one who I was talking to last month about it. How long did you have to wear the camouwalker Mine is still not healed and I was just wondering I go back in the middle of June and hopefully get to stop wearing it I can't tell if it is any better as I am having constant pain in that foot and leg. When I go back it will be over 3 months that I have used it. Also did your arthrist get worse in the foot with the fracture. Thanks for any help Thanks Angie

Guest guest
Dear Angie, I'm new to this group and this is my first post. I'm a 42yo female with psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, and foot neuropathy (though I'm not diabetic), osteo-art, and more. I have broken almost every bone in both feet. I've been " sick with my art's " since 2000. I once broke several tarsals on my fight foot by stepping on the track of my sliding glass door leading outside. I heard it! I'm a bit over weight, but not obese. The Dr's just say to be careful, always wear shoes, etc. The last big break I got was last December and I felt sure I had broken my left little toe and the tarsal behind it (maybe even two.) I didn't go to the Dr. because it was the holidays and I was embarrassed to have yet again broken something else and I'd just gotten my a severely torn rotater cuff repaired and had my gallbladder removed. I didn't want to tell anyone I'd had more careless badluck. I can't even remember what I did to it that time. [8-|] I've also broken them by jamming a toe on a door jamb. Twisting my ankle. Getting off of a curb and accidently finding out there was a storm drain there. Also getting out of a SUV. I went to my foot surgeon about a month ago to have my bone spurs and this ganglia thing looked at and asked him about the break. My little toe doesn't rest on the ground anymore, because it didn't heal properly. I don't know anyone else that breaks them like I do. But I sure wish I'd gone to the Dr. last time. I hope you don't have my luck and yours is just a one time thing. Do what the Dr. tells you to. I didn't wear my " big boot " because it hurts my hip and slows me down. That was a big mistake. Good luck to you at the Dr.'s office! I'm anxious to see if anyone else has this problem too! Sincerely, Dorcas > > I was wondering if anyone out there has had any problems with > fractures to the feet.
