advice on finding a surgeon in Midwest

Hi,

We are new members. My husband is 53, healthy, and recently diagnosed with

prostate

cancer. Only 15% on one side and a Gleason score of 3+3=6. Scheduled for surgery

next

month with a local urologist. But I'm concerned that this doctor may not be

experienced

enough. Has anyone recommendations on finding a reputable surgeon in Illinois or

St. Louis?

I have heard that recovery is highly dependent on the skill of the surgeon.

Advice?
