Sonny, y , , Katina, . Carole,all.

I honestly don,t know whether there is any real hard fast evidence to say

bronch is incurable, but by the same token I really don't believe their is

no hope that some do get a cure, whether its the type of bronch, like the

variety of asthmas etc, but as with any of these things, I suppose it also

depends on ones immune system, state of lungs, ant how well you keep in

general.

I have had no symptoms at all of bronch for 10 years now, and I don,t really

think it will re appear, but I have had so many changes of the types of

asthma i have had, all at various times of life, and all have become acute,

so none just small phases of anything, many years of one kind or another,

and also many combined types too.

All responded differently to some meds, but overall, most have responded to

the very minimal doses of ventolin, atrovent, saline, over the past 9-10

years.

When I was in the colder parts of Australia, whether it was bronch and

asthma etc, had cups and cups of much to cough up daily etc. tilted bed all,

the things we all talk of here.

When I moved to Queenslands warmer climate after 4 years settling in and

body getting used to all, the different triggers etc, I have very little if

any except for one little bit each day, and once thats up, its all gone.

Only puffer now, and some times saline, if I feel a bit tighter.

I do know however I have come of all steroid treatments , with doctors

watching over me at all times etc.

I take no syrups etc.

I have become allergic to all meds now, but as a reult of so many heart

failures and cardiac arrests.

I really don,t feel the slightest worry that it( bronch will return,) but

thats me and how I feel.

I eat and do all the right things, keep going, till breathless, then have a

bit of a cough, cough up no more than 1/2 teaspoon, and I,m clear.

I do believe its my lifestyle( diet, weather/ climate) change, stress levels

really only 10% to what they were 20 years ago.

I do however have many other ailments that I almost can guarantee will take

my life, and it won,t be the bronch, or preumonia etc.

However I do think my asthma could end my life, even though its totally

controlled, its so different, I,m ok, and in the next second cannot get

breath at all.

No warning, could be any where, any time, sleeping, bathing, eating.

Doc calls it the worst asthm a to have, and darn sure it is, cos I always

feel great lung wise.

R/A, fibro, heart all those are really giving me hell, so have no quality to

life as before, but just had to rearrange life a little, still have great

times with family, love working with people, love challenges, love the salty

air, even love all I eat.

Love life , Hate pain, though and thats my other big problem, I,m never out

of acute pain, always at round 11 out of 10.

every single day.

I honestly do believe you can live with bronch a very normal life if you

make the appropriate changes, be sensible, and be positive as much as

possible, never give in.

Give things a go, but always remember too, if you are unwell, don,t over do,

don,t change things while you are ill etc.

Anything you change, make sure you do it when you have been the best you

have been in a long time, and tell doc or someone wha the changes are, keep

a diaryso any changes good, bad are recorded and easily traced back etc.

I used , still do, a diary every single day, and I always tell someone of

anything different i have done, just in case something goes wrong etc.

Be well before you make changes, unless its moving house, and then really do

your homework, go stay at the area for a few weeks each season etc, before

you take the plunge, unless its coastal.

i do believe coastal, salty air can only benefit anything you suffer.

Must go hope all are a little better, get positive, remeber weather plays

havoc with everyone too, seasonal everything,

Sandy
