Guest guest
Tami, After my surgery I would get this feeling of empending doom, an unbelievable thirst and then this wave of heat would pass through me. I would get so red that people would ask me what's wrong. Since I've been on the hormones, I don't get them like that anymore. I just get hot really easily and wake up soaking wet during the night. I've been on the same combo of meds for awhile now and it doesn't seem to correlate with taking them. My doctor doesn't seem to understand what's going on. That's why I thought I'd throw it out to you guys. I hope you are having a low pain day as well. Alanna Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Re: Night Sweats -alanna, Have you started a new medication? maybe side effects of current meds? I get really hot sometimes after taking my pain med. Aslo I have been menopausal for 2 yrs. I still occassionally get hot flashes. When I was perimenopausal, I would get them so bad that I would feel sick and have to lie down. a couple times I was sweting so bad, that it looked like someone had poured water over me. In my experience and talking to other women, hormonal sweats seem tobe confined to above the waist. I would only feel really hot from the rib cage up. If your sweasts involved our entire body, maybe you should see your doc. I hope this helps some. have a low pain day. Tami -- In Hugs-N-Pain , " alannabodana " wrote: > > Hello everyone. I have found some bioidentical hormones which seem to eliminate the traditional hot flashes, but I still have a " heat intolerance " . As soon as it gets above 70 degrees I begin to sweat profusely. Now the last couple of months, I wake up about midnight or so and feel like someone dumped a bucket of water over me. Again, it doesn't feel like hormonal hot flashes. I would love to know what might be causing this or if anyone else has issues that are similar. > I have FM/CFS, DDD and neuropathic pain in my feet. Could this be connected to any of these? > Thank you, > Alanna >
