Guest guest
Hi! I posted awhile back regarding the referral we recieved from China for the baby with hemangiomas across her lumbar region. We are still waiting on more information, and in the meantime, I have come up with a few other questions. Is tethered spinal cord considered progressive even if a child has a surgery to detether the spine at a young age? Are there other forms of occult spinal dysraphism that do not include a tethered spinal cord? Are some people with non complicated SBO born with the same types of skin markers on the back? Are there any studies of long term outcomes of tethered spinal cord? Thanks so much!!!
