I told Sharon the same thing !! She needs to get back to her doc and get the test done, and Then take care of the other problems with them !!!! 8^) Sharon, I agree with Robin that you should not put off the tests. Make an appointment with your doctor and tell them you want it done by him or for him to refer you to a doctor who can do the tests. Don’t leave it, try and push to have it done quickly. It sounds almost as if they moved your appointment for the doctor’s convenience, and you may need to find another doctor. Your health is too important to let them play these games with it. I agree with Robin too that if more people stood up for themselves, they wouldn’t get away with stuff like this. There is just too much complacency when it is something that is effecting people’s health, and lives. The highest cause of death is becoming mistakes made by doctors. That is unacceptable in a society where we certainly have the technology to prevent it. Please take care of yourself. LOL Hugs Sharon With an ice pack stickin out of my pants Re: Re: CARO hey robin. re: joy--its hard to keep a good woman down. lol. you should see my new harley-davidson boots. actually i should see them too--the day i got them a friend tried them on and walked out wearing them. to " break them in for me " --do u believe that? i have a feeling that they made it to the gay prde parade last sunday. i hope they enjoyed themselves. about the procedure--i can drive and use the stairs now (although it is painful) and yes, my friends insisted on staying with me for several days. it was extremely helpful. and i would have been in trouble if i'd started bleeding here alone. but it didn't do my skitzoid tendancies any good. :-) i'm gladthe ablation is over and i hope they found every thing (they burned 4 channels out) because if i had to go back & do it again i truly think i would lose my mind. (the guys in the or gave me the straps they tied me down with as souviniers, but a nurse threw them away. at least the men in there were rowdy (dirty) which helped me maintain somwhat. they also took a picture of my heart with the cathaters in it, which was cool. so i am doing ok.
