Guest guest Posted October 6, 2006 Report Share Posted October 6, 2006 I do not know where you live but I do know at least two outstanding places to go: The Mayo Clinic - members of the group have gotten help there. Dr. Alvin Tierstein, Director of Pulmonary Institute, Mt. Sinai Hospital, NYC. He diagosed me in short order after I bounced from doctor to doctor for almost a year with all kinds of scans, x-rays, sputum tests, bronchoscopy, you name it. Even though bronnchiectasis is a terrible thing and an awful nuisance, it is better to know what I have and take steps to alleviate it than always be wondering what is wrong with me. There is a wealth of knowledge and support in both groups and I recommend them both.
