Guest guest
HI EVERYONE, IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I WROTE. I HAVE BEEN GETTING MY HOME READY. I'M STARTING A SPECIAL NEEDS DAYCARE IN MY HOME. BUT, ANYWAYS I'M 25YRS. I'LL BE 26 IN JUNE. AND I GET BEYOND TIRED. WHERE ALL I CAN DO IS SIT THERE AND LOOK AT THE WALL. AND OTHER TIMES I'M SPUNKY. BUT, WHEN I GET TOO SPUNKY FOR AWHILE I CRASH, AND I CRASH HARD! I GUESS YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO PACE YOUR SELF, BUT SOMETIMES YOU CANT BUT THERE HAS TO BE A POINT WHERE YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN. I HAVE LEARNED TO DO THIS A LITTLE I NEED TO DO IT MORE. I HAVE HAD A SERVE REACTION TO MY PLAQUNIL. I'M OFF OF IT. I CAN'T TAKE ANYTHING ELSE UNTILL IT'S OUT OF MY SYSTEM. WHY DO SOME OF YOU TAKE INJECTIONS WHAT ARE THEY FOR? I'M STARTING TO FEEL THE THROBBING IN MY TOES NOW.THANKS KIM marina_troi <marina_troi@...> wrote: Colleen, I'm the same way. I try to avoid the steroids at all costs. But, the Enbrel has begun to wear off and I am finding that I am requiring steroids more frequently. I try to go no longer than a week and no more than once a month, if I can. I told my rheumy that I will take 20mg (the lowest dose to have some effect) and taper off at about 5mg a day. Sometimes I have to longer than a week only because I stay on the 20mg for a few days. I hate doing that. I have been avoiding using them lately because I want them to have their peek effect when I go on vacation this week. I'm going to Vegas Thursday and, damn it, I want to be able to enjoy myself. So, my pal Prednisone is going with me!! <<sigh>> The things we must endure!!......Marina
