Does anyone get lopsided pain?

OK, I know that RA can affect one side worse than another, or it

can " switch " sides, and that seems to happen a lot with me. This

time it is getting ridiculous, though. Over the weekend we flew

north to attend my nephew's first birthday, and that was fun in

itself. I was a little more sore on my right side than my left, and

more swelling in my right ankle. Yesterday it was feeling a tad

better, but today I have almost no pain on my left except for a

little in my neck (can't tell if that is muscle or joint...I may

have slept funny), and my left knee, which is normal, but my right

side is hurting even more, my ankle is even more swollen, and now

I've got a lot of weakness in my right hand, stiffness and

tenderness in my fingers, pain in my wrist, foot, shoulder, knee...

Is this normal? Again, not " officially " dx'ed yet, but everyone

(except my current rheumy, who I'm " firing " , anyway) seems to think

this is either RA, possibly lupus, or both.

I'm also dealing with a minor cold, so have had an elevated

temperature yesterday (odd for this kind of cold, but oh well...),

more fatigue than usual, and my daughter has been difficult since

her grandparents spoiled her while we were up there. She's 16

months and doesn't quite understand why *I* can't carry her

everywhere and take her to the merry-go-round at her request :P.
