I found your E-Mail very interesting indeed. I used to work as a

home-health

aid and was very interested in handwriting. The early Parkinsonian tremors

of those patients with Parkinson's disease effected handwritting and many

other physical changes showed in handwritting. I also think that emotional

changes can alter handwritting. Has there been a lowering of self-esteem

or

self-confidence that has impacted the psyche to a point where the

handwriting

becomes smaller?

Is there a self-conciousness over spelling or content of writting that

makes a child want to write smaller and less legible? Your questions on

handwriting are interesting? I hope you find the answers. Let me know

when

you do.

Thanks for sharing,

Melinda

Melinda,

My child has dysgraphia which have progressed since the OCD dx. I went to

a handwriting clinic today and they recommend giving up on either printing

or cursive, whichever one the child uses less. His handwriting is clumsy

and stressful, but not small. It is too large. He is 11 and prefers to

print, which is more legible. He is self-conscious re: spelling and

creative content. If he speaks, there is no problem. I will probably

invest in " Dragon Speak for Teens " to see if we can get past this wall. I

want him more independent!!!!!!!!

They need to be taught a lesson in court...........and I think the Boozer case in Pascagula, Miss is just the one to teach them that lesson. A hurricane damaged home was left setting for years (with a damaged roof partially fixed by Mr. Boozer) and have given the sick, homeless family nothing......YEARS LATER !!!!!

Not that you asked me, but could you be a little more specific? I for one

cannot tell what you are referring to.

Of course, you might not be talking to me. :-)

Well thats what I heard he fell and hit his head. The part about the

doctors I just suspect being the way they are, the third greatest cause of

death in the US. If they knew anything then he could probably have been

saved.

I agree 100% with you, . I couldn't have said more astutely myself.

In fact, that whole website is quite creepy, if you ask me.

Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again.
