How about this... before offering your hand, rub your nose with it

clean up to your elbow...?

Seriously, if you are going to be in a situation like that (meeting

people), perhaps a stylish pair of white gloves would work. I'm sure

white gloves would be perfect at church.

the worst because everyone wants to shake your hands and Im afraid of

getting sick. Yet I dont know what to say I hate to explain I have RA

and take a chemo drug blah, blah, blah or I take chemo but I dont have

cancer. So I also have been stuck on what to do or what to say.Its not

really a pain issue but germs. Any suggestions?? Thanks Latisha

How about just conveniently haveing something in your

hands-purse, bible etc. (a tissue works real well and

is light weight too) so that the hands are not

available for shaking.

Nina and everyone else who replied:

Thanks so much for the laughs, good advice and great one-liners! I

really have no clue what I'd do without this group. I've learned so

much from reading all the posts.

This group is such a great resource and I am very fortunate to have

found it!
