Guest guest
Hi all. I had my prescription for my MTX sitting here for a week now. For whatever reason, I was absolutely terrified to inject myself with a needle, so I had been putting off taking it. I have no fear of needles, but the thought of doing it myself was giving me great anxiety. I decided to finally take it tonight as I am in the middle of a flare. I need to get healthy...and not taking my MTX wasn't helping. I called a friend and talked to her while I did my injection. I needed the distraction in order to be able to go through with it. I am not a baby or a sissy....but for whatever reason this was really freaking me out. I just wanted to post and let those of you who are about to start injections know that it really wasn't bad at all. In fact, I found it to be virtually painless. I no longer have fear about giving myself a needle. Take care...
