This is fascinating to me, because my friend recently had to have a hip

replacement because of avascular necrosis. In her case, it was thought

to have been brought on by chemotherapy following a mastectomy. I guess

hers wasn't found early, but it seemed to progress at lightning speed.

While waiting for the surgery, she finally was confined to a

wheelchair. Sue

It's really scary to me because I have been on Prednisone since August. In

Sept., Oct. and Nov. I had the 1 g. per day steroid pulse by IV.

It's really scary to me because I have been on Prednisone since August. In
