Weird question, but, hey, it's a weird disease! :-)

Hi gang ...

I am in my first major flare since being diagnosed. Oh, what fun this is.

I have noticed something strange and have been trying to figure it out. My

detective work leaves much to be desired, so bear with me.

I am itching like crazy -- around the joints(as I know is common) but

elsewhere too (muscle). All over really. No new soap, meds or anything like

that.

I think it's the flare. It began just before I saw my rheumy on Wednesday

for the cortisone shot, prednisone and darvacet (which I am not taking now).

My white blood cell count is low as usual, am seronegative, and ANA is

positive.

This itching is making me crazy. Anyone else experience this strange thing?
