we must either look to the reasearch, contribute to the research, or do

the darn research if we are to make assumptions such as this.

I was at a gathering of PT's recently where 'common sense' was used as

a methodology for imlementing a certain type of rehabilitative

appraoch... despite the mention that this construct has not held up in

the research yet.

We do our patients and profession such a big dis-service every time we

do something like that...
