Guest guest
Hi All, Just wanted to tell you that I had the biopsy on my larynx today and they didn't kill me. There were two docs and a nurse. I was really afraid of the bleeding because of Plavix. But, it was minimal. I do worry about the rugged coughing. So far not spitting up much blood. I watched it, interesting. This scope hurt going down. It was bigger than the others. They could not do gen anesthesia because of my lungs. So they put lots of numbing stuff down my nose and throat. My whole head was numb....nothing new there. It was not pleasant but I have had worse things. Glad it is over and I hope not to have to do it again. It will be a week before they let me know the results. Surely I would not be so unfortunate as to have lung disease, heart disease and cancer! Someone has a vodoo doll with my name on it. I always draw such peace from God when I am undergoing procedures like this. I pray and ask God to take me to a far away place. I try hard to remove myself from the pain. The doc kept interupting the process today. He would tell me "Keep your eyes open" ..... so I just started watching the screen and got real interested. Guess I will watch anything on t.v. Thanks for caring and remember to pray that the test results are o.k. Hugs, Joyce PF 1997
