Guest guest Posted April 2, 2005 Report Share Posted April 2, 2005 Hi Friends...I have been blessed not to have a really bad flare for quite awhile. In the past couple weeks, my knees, hips and back have been painful. I also am not too steady on my feet. In th last couple days the joints in my hands, wrists and shoulders have been so screaming bad. I'm having trouble lifting my arms up, and walking is difficult. My temp is just over 100. My appetite is blah, and I'm emotional, and not sleeping worth beans. I have felt nauseous at times. And generally like someone worked me over with a baseball bat. Does this seem like a flare, or the flu? I'm due to take my Humira and mtx in a few days, but won't if it's the flu. I did have my flu shot and I have not had the flu in many years - since I began getting the shots. I hope to Heaven my Humira mtx. mix isn't starting to fail on me. The only places my joints are noticably swollen are my middle fingers and thumbs on each hand, both my shoulders, and my knees - though the right knee is worse ( I have RA and OA in my knees.)
