Guest guest
all of her stories about her life always end with how people love her and how her approach changes people's mind. i would like to hear her tell once about something realistic that happens, like someone shouts her on the traffic.. and how she deals with it. how she deals with people that aren't nice, or more accurate how she thinks about it.. how can she stay positive. Guest guest
she has and i cant recall where it is.. some guy pulled out a gun and he was going to shoot her. not to mention having a cornea transplant and not being able to see much..having cancer and periods of being paralysed. and probably more.. if i read or hear of where this info is i will write again.. dont know at the moment.. i think we naturally want to assume people who are happy have easier lives and it isnt true.. i have assumed that often myself.. roslyn -- In Loving-what-is , " facy102 " wrote: > > all of her stories about her life always end with how people love her and how her approach changes people's mind. > i would like to hear her tell once about something realistic that happens, like someone shouts her on the traffic.. and how she deals with it. > how she deals with people that aren't nice, or more accurate how she thinks about it.. how can she stay positive. >

Guest guest
Facy, What you are asking for is not possible. You are asking for to see something and label it as a " problem " or as " wrong " . If you read about her life during her first 46 years she experienced many problems but that was prior to her " waking up " and The Work. Guest guest
i see what you mean.. if someone yelled at katie in traffic she wouldnt see that as a problem.. so its not about staying positive. its more not seeing negative in anything because shes so clear this morning i was doing the work on i am not good enough.. which i do believe.. i was also reading katie realized that her thoughts were not true. which is frustrating because i still see many of my thoughts are true and someone on the hotline said sometimes the thoughts are true it isnt to prove they arent true. which was helpful to me. then i realized the stress was that i should be good enough.. or at least good enough in my evaluation of good enough. maybe i shouldnt be good enough. does that make any sense..??? explain that to me steve.. thanks roslyn -- In Loving-what-is , " Steve Daily " wrote: > > Facy, > > What you are asking for is not possible. Guest guest
Actually has spoken many times about negative events: when husband No. 2 had his guns stolen,;when he threatened to leave her; when she got stuck in an airport for hours while on her way to do the Work; when her mother was very ill and subsequently died; sitting with others in their last day; thinking another car was about to crash into hers. In each case she reacted without anger or fear and in some instances enjoyment. Guest guest
maybe the relief would come if you didn't evaluate whether or not you are good enough (and according to whose standards anyway?). Just BE.
