Guest guest Posted April 7, 2005 Report Share Posted April 7, 2005 Hi Friends...my best friend who had thyroid cancer surgery in December has her radioactive iodine treatment tomorrow. She cannot drive after this procedure, so I am driving her home. She is concerned because for at least 72 hrs after her treatment she cannot be around any people or animals. Driving her home tomorrow is about a 30 minute trip, which exceeds the 10 minutes. She will be wearing a mask and gloves. I am not worried, but do want to be as safe as possible. Any ideas? Hugs...
