Guest guest Posted April 21, 2005 Report Share Posted April 21, 2005 that I have been on Pred. for about 2 yrs now and it has worked wonders for me.I do not know what I would do with out it .I understand about the side effects that it causes but really what choice do we have either put up with the pain /flares or put up with the side effects.I know that my Rhem. watches me real close on it since I have statred it and I have only taking low does.I only go up on the dose when my flares will not go back under control by time or it self.I have now finished my first wk. of 15 and am now going to go down to 12.5 another,wk.10,then back to my reg. dose of 7.5.I have all of the classic sysm. of Pred. the moon face,weight gain,sun sen.,but it does work for me .It makes me sad when I hear about those of you that must suffer because either it does not work or you choose not to take it for what ever the reasons are.But I look at this way the RA/lLupus will do much more damageto my body without taking it.So for all of my sister/brothers I feel your pain and share your concern with this med.,Tina. _________________________________________________________________ FREE pop-up blocking with the new MSN Toolbar – get it now! http://toolbar.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200415ave/direct/01/ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
