Guest guest
RE always pitching The advantages of working for oneself for me, after doing this since residency completed in standard path in 1988 is perhaps unique for my particular situation ( some big groups/hospital owned failing or reconsolidating) but still outway the faults. Everyone has their thing -- I see 40-55 pts a week, but in addition about 12% of my income is from outside sources such as a college physician, medical director for travel vaccines (oversite really), some occupational medicine. I'm almost busy enough in the office to turn down some of the less interesting/more annoying work. Reassess what works for you and never underestimate how annoying an unreasonable doc employer can be for your peace of mind -- remember if they pay you, they expect to tell you what to do first, last AND always. Matt in Western PA Solo since 2004 Employed 1988-2004 Will NEVER EVER work for hospital/insurance company as salary EVER again Re: Re: peak flow> > >>Â> > >>Â> > >>Â> > > -- MD ph fax -- MD ph fax -- MD ph fax
