Nina,

Thanks for your concern. Last rheumy appointment they said my blood

count was WAY down (again) and took me off anti-inflammatory. So now

we know why I'm " tired-er " than usual! I am back to taking Hemocyte

Plus again (yuck.) I told Ken the other day that I'm moving so slow,

vultures are following me around with hopeful looks on their faces! I

am feeling better, just taking a while to bounce back! Have a

beautiful day, I am going to try to sneak out for a minute at lunch

and enjoy this incredible weather. Gentle hugs and thoughts of

running away from work- white sand beaches, those funny umbrella

drinks....oh, well I can dream, right? :o)

Boy, do I ever know that feeling! And I live in the country where buzzards

abound. I work a little outside, then sit and rest. Work a little and rest a

lot more. The buzzards start circling and I tell them, " I'm still alive, just

pooped! " . LOL

Nina:

Despite the fact that most of us live with chronic pain everyday, we still

manage to keep our sense of humor! Thanks for the laugh....

No matter how terrible I feel or sick I am, I have made a promise to

myself that I will make a home cooked meal everyday. I absolutely

love to cook, and I'll be damned if this disease is going to take that

away from me. Yes, it hurts like heck to chop veggies, and I

sometimes take three times as long to make dinner, but at least I feel

as though I have one up on my RA at the end of the day when I have

eaten a meal I made my with own hands (no matter how swollen they

may be!).

Keep working or doing whatever you enjoy. Somedays you may be

resting more than working, but at least you're active.

Thanks for the positive post!

I have to laugh. Otherwise I would be crying. LOL

I love to cook, too, but hate cleaning up. My husband is working out of town

right now so I don't cook unless he's home.

That's why I bought my chickens, ducks, geese, donkeys, and goats four years

ago. I knew I wouldn't get up and do anything for myself, but that I would go

out there every day and take care of them. It would have been too easy to just

give up. It used to take me 45 minutes of solid work to get it all done every

day. Now it takes me 2 hours or more because I have to rest so much. But it's

worth it.
