Wanted to warn you!

Thanks for the warning, Ken. But, this is a hoax that's been around for a few

years.

Check out: http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/wtc.htm

Origins: Quick on the heels of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the

World Trade Center came the " WTC Survivor " virus hoax. This one was a hoax from

the very beginning; there was never a rash of disabled computers or deleted

DLL files caused by e-mail messages bearing the title " WTC Survivor. "

Nevertheless, this hoax continues to circulate with increasing frequency as the

calendar

approaches September 11 every year, making a comeback in 2002 and again in

2003.

*Symantec* Security Response encourages you to ignore any messages regarding

this hoax. It is harmless and is intended only to cause unwarranted concern.

AVERT HOAX Notice!! *McAfee* AVERT Labs would like to inform you of a new

email HOAX. We are advising users who receive the email to delete it and DO NOT

pass it on as this is how an email HOAX propagates.

STUPID!!! I am kind of " new " to all this computer stuff, as a matter of fact,

only got my new computer a few momths ago! I feel really DUMB, but I am glad

that someone like you took the time to inform me! I dearly hope I haven't " hurt "

anyone, or angered them....if I did, it really was unintentional!

Anyway, Thank you, and God bless you for being my friend! Love, ken
