Hi Pat in TN,

I am Tracie and live in the state of Maine. Are you telling me that I could go

to Canada and buy injectable MTX? It is not that far for me. My doctor is

supposed to decide tomorrow what to do with me (AKA start Humira, switch around

my MTX from pill to injectable, or start Enbrel). I did not think the

injectable MTX was going to be an option, but if all I need to do is go to

Canada to get it that is not a problem. Would you let me know?

Thanks so much for the information. Mayne in NJ doesn't have any to ship from

the US. They say Canada has a supply, but I understand that Canada can't by a

ridiculous law, ship to the US, even to a pharmacist. IS THIS CORRECT?

Individuals can buy there, and the Mayne pharmacist told my pharmacist I could

go there (???) and buy it from their supplier.

Cindi, please send the info your pharmacist has if he/she doesn't mind. I

sent you an e-mail on this.

I'll be checking messages at this site 2 more days, then away for 10-- if I

can go on a trip...

Hi,

NOt sure how to do this but incase someone is out there;

I have fibromyalgia BUT my question is that I have severe eczema and

they want to take me off of long term prednisone(18 months bone

density got worse) and put me on methotrexate or azathioprine. rdg

about is very scary.

I'd be grateful to hear if anyone is on one of those for maybe skin

problems and if long term how bad is it?

I've been battling my Rheumy's nurse for a few days over MTX and other meds.

Anyhow, that's another story, I might tell some of it later.

She gave me a phone number for a place to get MTX. It's New England

...something... and the phone # is 800-994-6322. They have 10cc vials for

$90. I didn't ask at the time, but the woman I talked to seemed to say that

shipment is no problem. I can't afford that much at one time, so I said, " no

thanks " .

I took my last injection Sunday. What should I expect if I don't take any

more, just in general terms?
