Guest guest
Are you sure that you are not pregnant? If that is not an option..I would be its the MTX. It gave me terrible nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Over time it got progressive worst and never better. Are you on folic acid? If so you may need to increase the folic acid with your doctors advice on that one. I was on 5mg folic acid a day plus leukovorin once weekly on the day of my MTX dosage. Nothing helped for me. Finally came off MTX...side effects were not worth the little bit of benefits I got from the drug. Toni In a message dated 4/19/05 4:50:44 A.M. I am also in the mist of a flare up, does nausea accompany this or is my doctor crazy? Very confused. Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Hi Tonya, I do get nausea from my methotrexate but only the evening of injection and next day. Nobody knows your body like you do and if you feel your questions are unanswered, keep asking. How long have you been on methotrexate, as it do take a while for your body to get use to it. Guest guest
Thanks so much for answering, I am currently looking for a new doctor that will better listen to me. A month of nausea is too much (defintely not pregnant). Just a FYI - I switched to the injectable to see if nausea gets better and it took me 2 weeks to find it in town. Defintely worried about obtaining more now. Thanks to all.
