Hi,

I have had eczema for several years now. I started MTX six months ago and

actually this was my best winter yet with my eczema. It did not seem to

aggravate mine at all. I hope this helps you. Just curious, but what do you

use for your eczema? I just use Protopic which I love because there is no

HI, can't write too long bad back but I've had severe eczema for 3

yrs, on prednisone for 18 mths, bone density got markly worse, now

dermatoogist wants to switch me to methotrexate or azathioprine. The

drug info is very scary to read but it all is so I figured I ask real

people. Is there any one who is on the aza.... or the meth.... and

can tell me what to expect?

I think it will be long term 'cuz I live in Phoenix and that makes the

eczema worse.

I use alot of Elidel and Ultravate when it's bad. Protopic burns

for me. I tried homeopathy for a year and now that it's hot again

I'm itching like mad. I don't think it worked.

SO the MTx stops your itching and rash? Any side effects?
