Guest guest
Kathleen, So sad and I'm sure it occurs every day. Someone just popped up on an apraxia board, she said her son just lost all of his speech (he had I think around 10 words - I can't remember how old, but he is PDD-NOS with severe speech) and she can't figure it out - the only thing different is he got a flu shot a day or two before the language disappeared. I gave her the info that the flu shots still have mercury in them and told her to get the CSB book. I cannot believe that our pediatricians still recommend the flu shot with mercury. I mean, there's a reason it's been removed from all of the other shots! So almost every single parent I've met is shocked that it's still in the flu shot. I feel horrible - I got one each time I was pregnant and my oldest has had two with mercury herself. Luckily, I've avoided it with my younger daughter, and she's had no signs of delay - yet! You know what happen next, the doc thought it would be a great idea to give her the next scheduled immunization and lets throw in a flu shot. She is 3. > I am so ever grateful that I have this list to ask questions and to be able to help those around me. Guest guest
Thanks Kerri, I don't know how in my lifetime I am going to get this to stop, but I am committed to make sure that somehow I do.
