I was born full term and was very healthy.

<I just thought it might be interesting to find out if there might be a relationship there somewhere. I was also a "forceps" baby, as was my youngest brother (he was 3 months early and weighed in at less than 3 lbs).cyn>

I was only three weeks early, so technically a premie, but not really, since I weighed a healthy 6 lbs. 13 oz. However I know everything there is to know about premies, lol. My 4 year old daughter was a premie, born at 27 weeks (13 weeks too soon) and weighing 2 lbs. 5 oz. Within a week, she'd lost down to 1 lb. 9 oz. She had a hemorrhage in her brain, which is why she's autistic. Being premature can cause lots and lots of problems, so it wouldn't surprise me if fibro is one of them.

P.S. I've often wondered if my 4 year old (the premie) may have something like fibro. Since she is just starting to learn to talk, she only has a few things that she says. One of them is "toe hurts" but when I ask where, she'll point to anywhere on her feet. She must think the entire foot is called "toe." But on the other hand, it may just be that "toe hurts" is the phrase she falls back on when she doesnt' know what else to say. Whenever she's upset and doesn't know how to put it into words, she may just be saying "toe hurts." But she does usually hold her feet when she's saying it. I don't know. I can't wait til she is able to tell me more about it, because I'd hate to know she's been in pain all this time. :(

I believe I was born 2 weeks early which would not be considered early now. I was also a forceps baby and born with a type of strep infection because they waited to long after my mom's water broke to get me out and back then (a whole 30 years ago..lol) they did not start antibiotic IV drip like they do now..

April

Mom and dad think I was born a month late, the docthought I was a month early and I think I was right ontime. Right on time for christmas that is! LOL (5 daysbefore it to be exact)....6 lbs, 5 oz......Which was good for my mom as she was not suppose tohave children heavier than 7 lbs unless she wanted ac-section.....Site-Mod
