I itch all the time as does my husband. We are both seronegative for RA. My

husband and my liver enzymes were unusually high so he had a screen for

Hepatitis C and so did I. His is positive and mine is not but mine is not

back yet.

Let me know what you find out.

Hi ... (I don't know your name!) ... thanks for this and to Nina for posting

on the liver thing. As I just got back lab work, I don't believe my enzymes

are high (the lab work is about 10 days old), but they have been in the

past. It does feel more topical than like " worms under the skin " as Nina

wrote.

My hands are not red either.

Interesting that my brother does have Hep. C but I have not heard him

mention this.

(Sigh) This flare is kicking my a$$! :-) Tomorrow is a new day though and

I plan on doing some kicking back!

Thanks to all!

Love and Prayers,

Beth

PS. June ... get that mammogram done. Not only will you get the answers

you need, you will help all of us women who admire your bravery! Why live in

fear when you can live fearlessly? Get the answers you need! xoxo

There's an autoimmune disease which affects your liver (primary biliary

cirrhosis). Your alkaline phosphotase and bilirubin will be high if that's

what's causing the itching. Unfortunately, I'm an expert on PBC. :-(
