Guest guest
Absolutely! I used to be the " speed queen " among my family and friends.....but now.....not so much. (haha) I used to live and work in a high pressure, high stress, " 900 miles a minute " , eat on the run world; between school and work.....I was CONSTANT movement. I used to be up at 4:30 a.m. and considered myself lucky if I got to go to bed before 1:00 a.m. most nights. Now days, I do well if I get the grocery shopping done without collapsing in the middle of the store. I know people tend to slow down with age...but this is ridiculous!! I'm not THAT old!!!! So yeah, definite slowing trend here. Pixi > > > I see things move very fast here, lol. Guest guest
Hmmm, it seems that many of us were that way pre-fibro. Lots of us were perfectionists too, that good old Type A personality, lol! I wonder if it is if our bodies finally say "Enough!" to burning the candle at both ends and fibro is the result. hugs, Sundra <Absolutely! LOL We should try to find out how many of us are that way. Maybe we can find our own cure since nobody else can.
Guest guest
I have it sometimes and with certain things... An idea to help for what ever reason might be to take a notebook and as you read write down the subject, persons name and something that will trigger what it is about and what you wanted to respond with..then when your done reading so many just respond to a 'few' things all in one email...by the end you may have only posted 3 or 4 emails but got to respond to everything you wanted to.. Did that make sense?? I have used this several times in the past and think I might have to do it here to soon sometimes to. I read everyday but sometimes 4 days can go by before my hands are up to actually typing that much and by then (like today in fact!! lol) I feel horrible for answering so many emails that are so far behind and end up skipping some.. :c( A few weeks ago all I could do was post an update on *me* and was not even able to be very supportive to anyone else and they ALL loved me anyway...this group is GREAT so please don't feel overwhelmed or that you are 'processing' slow, we all can only work at our own pace and that IS okay and we will always be here for you.... :c) April in SC ~ ElfynFyreGroup ModeratorMSN Messenger:jackfults@... And I move slow by nature lately, I put my ketchup and mustard on a burger and by the time I take a bite everyone else is done eating. So much of what I will want to respond to will be off the board before I get a chance.Perhaps I will learn 'fast'. lolHas anyone else found they have a 'slowing process' going on.~Shocking Blue~
