Guest guest
To all who wrote re: my question on metho INJECTIONS: 1)The question is for my elderly mother (I HAVE FIBROMYALGIA, WHICH I'LL SAVE FOR ANOTHER DAY AND WRITE REAMS FOR YOU AND ASK FOR HELP) 2)She is almost out of the yellow liquid for injections. Tennessee pharmacies have no supply. Our independent pharmacist, whose family has helped mine for 3 generations has tried everything, and so have my brother and I. 3)Mother's rheumatologist in Nashville, TN, has prescribed the metho tablets, which don't work for her as well and which seem to cause some upset. 4)Cindi, , Toni, and others have sent commentary. I'm wondering about the Mayne Phamaceuticals. Are they known to be 100% reliable? As I'll be travelling, am wanting to be extra careful. RE: Complaining, Peggy: I'd like to have a dialogue on this. A group like this must be the answer. I'm exhausted from a fireball husband who can't understand why I cannot keep up on trips, and anytime we're out -- thinks I should be able to go to a birthday party in one part of the state, then drive 150 mi to a concert, out until 1 AM, then up early and off again. Can't do it. Thanks for listening. Pat in Tennessee
Guest guest
Pat, I am so glad I press SEND on my first initial e-mail regarding pain and complaining. Sharing and listening to what others have said has helped me more than anyone knows. All I can say is Amen sister, I hear you. Hugs, Peggy RE: Complaining, Peggy: I'd like to have a dialogue on this. Guest guest
Hi Pat! I am new to this group. My name is Corinne and I am 43 years old. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis three years ago. I can't imagine running out of medications. Or not being able to get them. I found the tablets didnt work for me either and so I am on injections and also on a drug (biologic) called enbrel. I am learning to deal with this horrible disease. It has changed my life. My heart goes out to your mom and you also. I am in a support group and lots there has fibromyalgia. I have learned so much about it. I am very fortunate to have a very understanding husband. I don't know what I would do without him. Maybe you and your husband can come to Canada for a visit and he can see how it works.....*S*.... Have he read any info on your disease? Maybe if he could do some research then he would understand a little better. I love travelling but can't do much of it anymore as I get exhausted. Me and my husband took my parents to Nashville last summer and I swear it took forever to catch up. I loved Nashville as it was a dream for me to go...But it took its toll on me. I like to email the person when I reply instead of the group, it is more personal.....I hope you don't mind. I figure you can become friends this way. I spend alot of time at home so I love to have friends.
