Guest guest
Hello all, We've been home from NY and our visit to TCI for about a week. was seen by Dr. Kula and Dr. Bolognese. They were wonderful with her. Dr. Kula was so sweet. giggled through her whole neuro exam. Dr. B was funny and extremely kind, but got straight to the point. Dr. B strongly recommends fusion surgery. Invasive traction the day before, and fusion to C-4. I guess you know it really is time for surgery when it is a relief to hear that recommendation. She's slowly been losing function in her legs, and there are many other signs and symptoms as well. I am still in a bit of a daze though. Can those that have had this surgery at TCI give me a little more insight into what is ahead for her? just turned 10 in March. Surgery is scheduled for the end of August, unless an opening comes up sooner.
