Guest guest
Dear Ken, I am sorry that you feel so bad. I can totally relate for about 4 months I have had the same problem. It started about December. I also had generalized edema ( my feet, ankles arms legs stomach and face all swelled ) I must have gained about 25 pounds in water wait. I went to a new primary care physician since I am new to this area and he put me on a diuretic pill to get rid of some of the inflammation. I wanted to know why this was happening but still do not have an answer from him. The doctor had me do a x-ray of my lungs and found lung nodules. I have been diagnosed with COPD (even though I have only had bronchitis ,once that I know of) I have to have another ex-ray very soon to make sure the nodule have not grown and are not cancer. I am also now on oxygen every night and on a humidifier 4 times a day. He also checked my heart and thyroid. I have high cholesterol and was on stanines briefly (*Crestor) and have a slight blockage to the main artery and also in the legs. He also found that I was not producing thyroid and now have to a pill everyday. I still get the swelling, but not as often but I still do not know what was causing it. I do know that my health has greatly deteriorated in the last year. If you find out what is causing the swelling on you letting me know. I wish you all of the best. Hope you feel better and find the answers you are seeking. God Bless, Jacquie

Guest guest
Gosh Ken you are going through the grinder. I would say see your dr. as soon as possible. Sounds like those feet are nasty. So you don't feel alone this spring has been the worst. Had a fairly reasonable winter and was hoping to continue through the spring. NOPE! This arthritis has a mind of it's own! For now I'm blaming the IRS for my stress and pain! LOL take care in Ct. kenneth samuelsen wrote: > > Greetings! )from squarehead ken). > Got a heck of a confusing problem: I take 7 different kinds of > meds, given to me from the V.A., and I give myself an Injection,(well, > actually two of them) of methotrexate to equal 80 units on tuesday. > Then, on Sat. Guest guest
Hi Ken: This is . I was just wondering have you had your BP checked lately? It could be high. If you are with holding fluid in your feet it might be a kidney problem. Try to get this checked out if you can. It may not be kidneys at all but when I got my Kidney disease it did start out that way. Just get it checked out. Call an MD and see what he has to say. Take care my friend.
