New Air Filter Technology; R-TEC Technologies, Inc.

FLANDERS, N.J., May 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, there has been extensive

media coverage concerning the poor and dangerous air quality found in the

ventilation systems of schools, hospitals, homes, and commercial aircrafts.

These reports have detailed mold, fungi, bacteria, and even Legionnaire's

disease present in places such as a Ford automotive assembly plant, offices,

and schools. This problem has caused people to become dangerously ill. The

short-term solution to this problem has been to dismantle the entire

ventilation system, at a very high cost, only for the problem to reoccur a

few years later. This potentially dangerous problem affects almost every

individual who spends time in a school, hospital, office, aircraft cabin, or

any place where air is circulated through a ventilation system. Until now,

the health and scientific community was not able to give a long-term

solution to the ongoing problem.

However, there has been a very important breakthrough in air filter

technology: R-TEC Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: RTTC - news), a

research and development company, has invented the world's first and only

air filter designed for both residential and commercial ventilation systems,

that captures and destroys over 99.999% of harmful airborne pathogens such

as: the common cold, flu, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and other harmful growths

like bacteria, fungi, and mold. The Company has filed for patent protection

globally, and tested the filter technology with two independent, certified

biological labs. The successful results exceeded even the company's

expectations. The filter media was able to kill 99.999% or greater of the

most dangerous bacteria and airborne pathogens. This was accomplished using

safe and effective, time-diffused micro-encapsulated technology. This new

technology has received considerable attention by some of the world's

largest filter manufacturers around the globe. This filter will be made

available to the public at a similar price as conventional air filters later

this summer and should drastically improve the quality of air we breathe.

These filters are also disposable, and should be replaced every three months

in home air conditioning or heating systems. For more information please

Another press release of someone willing to take our money for a product

which will solve all our problems. Right.

This article mentions nothing of the organisms already growing in the HVAC

coils and drain pans, and other areas of HVAC systems well past the filter

location. This will do nothing to solve the problems of HVAC systems which

have been inadequately maintained, or improperly designed to allow pockets

of biological growth, with inadequate or non-existent access for cleaning,

even brand new systems.
