Not to say I'm moving slow- but vultures are following me with hopeful looks on their faces.) I just decided that I could get bitter or get better, and to thank God for all the wonderful things that I have in my life. I may be walking with a cane today...but it is a very COOL cane. has dragons all the way up and down it. red lacquer. if you gotta have one, it may as well be interesting, right? Watching an elderly person sing " great > is thy faithfulness. " they've lived it. Just about the whole book of > Psalms makes me smile. my favorite holey jeans, my toe ring > collection, my St. Francis cross, those PBS specials about buildings > shaped like things (you know- ducks, hot dogs, shoes, etc.) Faulkner, > brennan manning's books, pat conroy, chuck taylors, anything by bob > wills or j.s. bach, and those rare, miraculous days when you wake up > and hardly anything at all hurts. until you stand up....)And last > but not least, getting time to chek in on the beloved brothers and > sisters of the RA group.
