I had a friend go through that five years ago and he is still cancer

free so best wishes to you and your BF. Would having her in the back

seat minimize your exposure? Plus she would have a true chauffeur-

" home, tess! and don't spare the horses! " maybe ask the staff at

the treatment center tomorrow if they can suggest options? what a

lovely friend you are to be there for her. you are such a sweetie.

hugs

Hi Friends...my best friend who had thyroid cancer surgery in December

has her radioactive iodine treatment tomorrow. She cannot drive after

this procedure, so I am driving her home. She is concerned because for

at least 72 hrs after her treatment she cannot be around any people or

animals. Driving her home tomorrow is about a 30 minute trip, which

exceeds the 10 minutes. She will be wearing a mask and gloves. I am not

worried, but do want to be as safe as possible. Any ideas?
