The strong never rest! Isn't that the way it seems. We never seem to get a

break. God must be preparing us for something big as what ever it is, it sure

requires allot of strength! LOL Just my take on the deal! I'm always telling

Him, I don't need more strength, but He sees otherwise. lol

WC is sure not there for the injured they are there for the Company who pays the

premiums into them. Which makes logical sense, but this man you are speaking of

is making a very unfounded decision. It's like he just pulled it out of the air.

We always tend to survive it all. Wouldn't it be nice to just once have

something go in our favor without a mess for us to endure in the process? I know

I'd like that. No, we can't lay, sit or do anything else for any period of time.

I slept on my left side last night, which is a huge no-no. I know better, but I

laid down on my left side, fell asleep and that is the way I stayed all night.

Now as a result, it took me 30 mins to get out of bed this morning. My left hip

and leg, OMGosh, they hurt sooooooooo bad. It'll be noon or later before I can

stand, walk or sit without great pain. And it will hurt all day. Then to top it

off, I had to go to the bathroom upon waking, that took about 15 mins before I

could grab the dresser, pull myself to a semi stand position and drag myself to

the bathroom, which is only 4 ft from my bed. It stinks getting old. lol I'm

only 43, but days like this, I feel 83. Ok, I'm done gritching about my morning.

lol Now I need coffee! Perhaps I can make it to the kitchen soon to make some!

Ya think? LOL

Well, we're here for you! Need to vent, go for it! We do understand!

Thanks for the support. I do not qualify for Aid because my husband

works. He just started a new job and wont get paid for about 3

weeks. And then we have bills to catch up on. He will have insurance

after 90 days, but I am thinking most insurance companies do not pay

for prior injuries.

I cannot believe this doctor said that either when I have taken

Xrays, an MRI that clearly shows the herniation, I have taken a

myelogram, which my neurologist says, shows I need a fusion. I had

an EEG too that shows I have possible peripheral neuropathy in my

left leg. I wonder if this peer review practioner even looked at any

of these test results!

I applied for SSD, but have been denied twice and my lawyer is

getting a hearing. They denied me because I used to be technical

support representative. I helped people install their SBC DDSl

service. I sat all day. And I guess they do not understand that I

cannot sit for long periods any more. Heck, I cannot do anything at

all for long periods. It even hurts to lay down. I am sure you, and

everyone else who have back probelms know how that is...

Worker's comp is a joke. Everyone is out for money-not for the

injured people. In the mean time while they play their games, we

just have to suffer... I suppose I will get through it somehow and

keep on keeping on, like I always do.

WC does stink and I have heard some horror stories of people having to deal

with them. When Dennis my hubby got hurt at work on sept 10 (yes right

before the wtc attacks:( we had to deal with them, but didnt have many

problems. Luckily cause i know ho wthey can be from hearing from all of

you!!

My work also told me they could not hold my job open but i was able to get

STD-short term disability until the LTD-long kicked in. I was thankful for

that,
