Guest guest
Remember the MRI is accurate 90% of the time. That means that it's NOT accurate 10% of the time. My MRI was negative. My spinal tap was very positive - 4 oligoclonal bands - and we've ruled out all other causes of oligoclonal banding. Huge ongoing symptoms. I believe, my dr believes, and I am treating for, MS. The biggest hassle is that neg MRI leaves me with *probable MS* for official dx - so I got 2nd SSI denial. However, I'll see a judge on that in a year, and I believe it will go through when someone actually sees me. So - can't dx you, just clarifying that negative MRI does not necessarily mean it's not MS. Amy Well i finally got the tap results and the neuro says its negative for MS. Not sure if thats a good thing or not. Plus, the visual test also came back normal. Cuz now we need to find out what the heck is wrong with me. Saturday, I had my face (just around my mouth and chin) and my right arm went numb. And actually i new i was typing but really couldnt feel it. So im as confused as ever, and i know that sometimes it takes years to determine neurological problems specifically MS but im so tired of being sick and tired all the time. Thank you all for listening.
