Guest guest
I am jumping back in the pool and trying another rheumatologist. I called and made the appointment today. The office staff said he requires referral from a primary care provider, but I explained I was already diagnosed before and sent to a rheumatologist, and I stopped going because he refused to treat me for rheumatoid arthritis unless I went on permanent disability. Until then, he kept insisting I come in any time I had swelling so he could look at it, and he kept testing me for Lupus and telling me I didn't have any of the signs of Lupus. I couldn't miss work every day and I couldn't have knuckles the size of walnuts every day, so I went back to my PCP and got a prescription for Celebrex. The woman left the phone for a while, then came back and said, " Okay, we can give you an appointment. " So now, I hope this guy is good, and not like the last person I saw. Does anyone have any experience with any rheumatologists in Orange County, California? --------------------------------- Celebrate 's 10th Birthday!
