You might want to do some averaging of your numbers and throw out those that

seem to be obviously wrong.

As a general rule the test results can vary by as much as 10%. For instance

you get a reading of 140 and you don't know the history of your typical

glucose levels. This reading may be in actuality as high as 154 or as low

as 126. I would be highly suspect of any readings that seem to vary more

than the 10% difference for the average or typical reading.

get a different kind. most use the accucheck voice mate and everyone has trouble

with it. I use the lifescan one touch profile with a speech box and it is much

more reliable than that silly one folks use. It beeps *loudly* when there is

enough blood on the unit and will tell you " not enough blood " if the strip is

not covered andit would test.

got three different readings. first time, 48, I think was wrong. second

time, was 158, this might have been right. the third time was 128. this also

could be right. am I not getting my blood in the hole right, or am I not

getting enough blood? I usually always have this kind of trouble. yesterday

it read after breakfast, in this order, 248-175-131. this is crazy. this is

why I don't like this talking machine, even if it die cost 700 dollars.

maybe I should get me a different kind.

Yea, , but I can't get enough blood to use your type of moniter.
