thank you. I'm in trinidad and tobago in the sunny Caribbean. a part of the

world where carbs is a great part of our diet. a part of the world where

it's really expensive to eat healthy. but to do it we got to do it. so i'm

trying really hard. My wife is really frustrated by the challenges posed

by''' as she calls it " this sugar thing. " she seems to think that whole

wheat flour is a replacement for white flour. no matter how much i tell her

that it might just be a source of less starch. but i'm trying really hard.

Have''' a nice day.

and stay away from girls who serve French champagne!

Have her read the carb gram count per serving on the packages. Maybe she

will come to believe that carbs are carbs. Sea food, vegetables and nuts

along with lots of salads is the key to good glucose control.

All fruits are high in carbs no matter whether they are whole fruits are

fruit juices.

Hmmm. I know nothing about health insurance in your part of the world. Does

your government provide health insurance at all?

sounds like you have a good understanding of what foods to avoid. Yes, it can be

more expensive to eat lower carb foods but what a benefit... you can live a

longer life *smile*.
