Guest guest
Thanks for your replys Where is your cord tethered and what physical symptoms do you have and what showed on your X-Rays?I have this fatty lump under my skin on the sacral area which is really sensitive to touch like a raw nerve on a tooth. Can't stand to wear a belt on my jeans cause when I sit it really hurts to have it pressing on it.Its almost like hitting you funny bone when you touch it.They said I have a lipoma but I don't know whether that is what it is or it is something different? When I had an ultrasound on it some time ago they said it was just a fatty deposit and yet I have complained about it ever since I hurt my back.(I landed with my left leg bent backwards and my heel under my bum and my right leg straight out in front) while playing touch football.I have quite a few falls on my tailbone over the years some out of the blue with my legs just giving out and a few accidents. They said my vomiting thing was a virus but I had the same problem when I gave birth to my sons.Every time i had a contraction I would throw up.When I had my second baby I refused the gas and and any meds as i thought it was them that made me sick but it didn't make any diffence I still vomited with every contraction with the spine pain.I am to see a neurologist hopefully the first week of Dec as he is overseas(USA) attending lectures and my chronic pain Dr is on holidays till the 2nd dec.My GP was going to ring the CP guy to fill him in but as I rang the CP doctors secretary yesterday she still hadn't been in touch. The problem is that I have never had an episode while at the specialists and they have no idea what I go through. My GP as has never seen a episode as I only go to the hospital when the pain is out of control at home and I can't stand it anymore. When I was admitted a week ago I was treated totally different as I haven't been in a while and all of a sudden because you have something actually diagnosed it was a whole differen ball game.I have had some appalling treatment in the past treated like I was putting it on and having to wait hrs before they gave me any type of pain relief. My problem is pretty complex as I also have a lot of problems with my hormone levels as well and they were the lowest they have ever been since I was diagnosed as early menopausal at 35.Its like my whole body goes into some sort of shutdown.Anyways thanks for listening, will let you know how I get on.I just get so sick of feeling so sick as well as all this pain stuff.
