It comes in a tube as well as a roll on bottle. The roll on works great fot those areas that are just too tender to touch. I haven't noticed much relief with my feet, but the hands shoulders, neck, knees have all benefited. It is not available at normal retailers. I found it at a medical supply store as well as the foot specialty shop where I got my shoes (needed tennis shoes to fit my new AFO brace). The medical supply store had free samples to try. I have found the best results with the roll on. It does not require a prescription. You can check out the web site at www.biofreeze.com. It does have the menthol odor, but it fades fast.
