I haven't posted really since I joined the group, however,I find all

the posts to be quite informativve.

I did want to put my two cents in as far as alternatives to the RA

meds.

I was on Humira for a year and for the most part it really worked

quite well until about 3 months ago. When I told my Rheumy that I was

having problems again, he said that since I was taking it every 2

weeks I could take it every week

I don't like taking medication if I don't have to and I was not crazy

about increasing this medication because the original smaller dose

was

now not working

I tried taking omega 3 and 6 Fish oils 1200-2400 mg a day

I also started taking Tumeric 1200 mg 2x a day

One tsp of colloidal liquid gold 2x day.

Within ten days my pain and symtoms dissapeared.

The question for me was. Is this just a case of remission after a

couple of months of a flare up or is it the natural remedies I took.

I cut back on all the above doses for three weeks and the symptoms

started to return

Pain in my knees and shoulders and feet

I have started back on the higher doses and after a week the sypmtoms

are subsiding.

I am not saying this will work for everyone, however, I will stay on

the higher doses regularly if it can keep my RA at bay.

And I am more than happy to not have to take any medication if this

will continue to work.

Pretty interesting! Do you make your own colloidal gold? I make

colloidal silver, but haven't tried gold. Gold is one of the oldest

treatments for RA, and I've wondered about colloidal gold but never

knew anyone that tried it.

I'm glad it helped so much.
