Hi,

My name is Dr Liz Sillence and I am a psychologist working at

Northumbria University in the UK. We are currently running a study

looking at people's attitudes towards and experiences of online health

advice.

As an Internet user we would be interested in your opinions and

experiences. We are interested in the opinions of Internet users who

have looked online for health advice as well as people who have not

used the Internet for this purpose.

The questionnaire will take up to 15 minutes to complete and the

majority of questions only require simple tick box answers.

You will NOT be asked to provide your name or contact details and as

such all your responses will be anonymous. I would also like to let

you know that I have been in touch with the list owner and made sure

that it was ok to send this message out to your group. I will also be

making the results of the survey available to the group once the study

has ended. Should you wish to contact me about this questionnaire

please feel free to do so at either elizabeth.sillence@... or

lizsillence@...

Should you wish to take part in the study please follow this link

Many thanks

Liz
