I've just been notified by my Attorney that Social Security has finally scheduled a hearing date for May 19, 2005. I'm pretty nervous to say the less. Has anyone been through this? What is it like? My Attorney sent me a tape of a mock hearing to give me an idea. But like I said, it was a mock hearing. I want to hear from people who have actually been in that seat. I first applied in June. Got denied in October, and acquired an Attorney a short time after. I wrote to both of my state Senators and I believe that really helped in Social Security putting a rush on my hearing date.
