Guest guest Posted March 28, 2005 Report Share Posted March 28, 2005 These are some things I do when my pain is getting in my way and pain meds aren't doing the trick. I've worked some of these things into my schedule even on better days. Sit in the hot tub and stretch for 20 minutes. I have a punch card for a local hotel and it's just a couple dollars to use the pool. I did have 3-4 physical therapy sessions and learned how to stretch and relax different areas of my body. If I'm feeling too yucky to even drive to the pool, which happens, I fill up my own tub with hot water and mineral salts and do modified strteching in there. My hands and feet are the most affected so most of the stretches can be done in my own tub. I bought a parrafin wax bath for both my hands and feet.
